Technology program. His newest book (412 pages + 135 figures) is filled
with tips on how to make a good recording sound great. A few of those items

Time Effects, Pitch Shift, etc. For our lecture, Alex has selected compression.
He will demonstrate the positive effects of compression and how it can enhance
playback. Alex will supply attendees with an abstract of his talk. Much
more compression detail is available in his book. Autographed copies of
his new book will be available. The meeting will take place in the Main
Recording and Critical Listening Room. The super room was designed by Bob
Alach (Alactronics). Bring along your favorite CD.
