Topic: Past Summer Audio Shows, Events, and Conventions

Alvin Foster, Secretary of the Boston Audio Society, and others will present the happenings at various audio events over last few months. The many audio events include Audio Expo North America (AXPONA), the Audio Engineering Society Convention (AES), and Parsons Audio Expo. There will be reports on the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, Custom Home Theater Installation Contractors (CEDIA), and the Carver Fest.

Many of our members attended the Sean Olive meeting last month. Among his many interesting topics he discussed how they questioned Consumer Reports' speaker testing methodology and prevailed. We will have open discussion of his meeting.

Steve Owades, member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, may be on hand to give us a rundown of the Summer’s classical musical events.
