TOPIC: The January 2020 CES Show - A/V and MUCH more

Dr. Wacks is a pioneer in establishing the home systems industry and a management advisor to more than 150 clients worldwide. His business includes home and building systems, utility customer services, and digital entertainment networks (including HDTV and IPTV). Since 2014, he has supplied CES reports to BAS audiences.

Out of necessity, Dr. Wacks has designed this presentation to be interesting while maintaining our safe distances utilizing the ZOOM Video Conferencing Software.

Dr. Wacks will describe CES’s amazing growth and change. It is now the largest trade show in the United States attracting 175,000 visitors to Las Vegas. It started as the venue for audio/video (A/V) retailers to learn about the latest products to stock for the next year. It has now expanded well-beyond A/V with 4500 exhibitors covering two million square feet in nine halls.

Dr. Wacks will present a variety of A/V and other products with photos and video clips. He will also report on the unusual products related to health, brain waves, food, farming, and robotics. Information and photos on ‘pets’, computer-generated human friends, and sex.

You can use your computer’s audio if you have a headset attached, or you can dial-in for audio. If you have a smart phone or tablet and a good internet connection, then you should install the Zoom app for your device and connect using it.
