December 2020 ONLINE MEETING NOTICE

/ Video / Misc. Items using ZOOM
We may be the first audio
society to provide a forum for a ZOOM style,
White Elephant Sale. Traditionally, our December
meeting activity is the White Elephant Sale.
COVID has closed our customary bargaining
interactions and demonstrations. There are
two ways to present your items for sale:
1)
Take photos of the items you want to
sell. Email them to our ZOOM host, Ken Schwartz.
Be sure to include the price, name of the
item(s), and a brief description (10-words
or less). Please add your telephone number,
email, and the estimated local shipping costs
or if you prefer, pick up or delivery costs.
When Ken displays your items on our screens,
you will have the opportunity to speak and
describe them.
2)
Take photos of the items you want to
sell. Put them into a format on your computer
or cell phone that will present (make visible
to all) when your ZOOM ‘Share Screen’
button-application is engaged. During your
limited Share Screen time, you may choose
to present with a PowerPoint application,
a movie format, or with your camera aimed
at each item for sale. Hold-on to your photos
and descriptions. Please follow the directions
by including the items outlined in #1 above
when the host designates it’s your turn
to speak.
The host will unmute each
person for his/her presentation, and limited
discussions or questions will be permitted.
If more information is desired from the seller,
you will be directed to contact the seller
off-line by email or phone.

of your White Elephant Sale items.
