Q Division has moved three times, finally landing at their current location on 171 Rindge Ave, Cambridge, MA. The latest move involved totally rebuilding a manufacturing facility to house a modern and uncompromised recording studio. In pursuit of excellence, everything was rebuilt. To ensure their success, Q Division employed the studio building expertise of Lou Clark, Sonic Space, an award-winning studio designer. Our live and ZOOM tour of Q Division will involve listening to selected recorded pieces: a camera live stream, a question-and-answer session, the how-to transition from tape to digital recording, what equipment choices they made in pursuit of accuracy, sound room conditioning, and the future of professional recording studios.
