1.  Good News for Mozart Enthusiasts. The Salzburg Mozarteum has now finished its project to make the scores of the composer's complete works available online for free. With over 25,000 pages of music plus accompanying guides, the site should now provide a valuable resource. "The digitalising of Mozart's work is a crowning achievement for us", says Mozarteum president Johannes Honsig-Erlenburg. http://dme.mozarteum.at/mambo/index.php

2.  Amazon is opening a new website for classical recordings, some at very low prices, to fill the gap left with the demise of storefront record shops. www.amazon.com

3.  For BAS members out of town we have a special offer for Jazz lovers. A package of 30 Jazz CDs, randomly picked from Ira Leonard's collection, for $22 including shipping in the USA. To order, send a check, made out to "Boston Audio Society", to David Hadaway, POB 460, Rindge NH 03461. These were donated to the Society by Ira's brother, Joe Leonard.
