1. Decca has released the third re-mastering of the Solti Wagner's Ring. It is on 14 CDs and also on one Blu-ray audio disc (so you don't have to get up for 22 hours) in lossless 24 bit files. Extras include Deryck Cooke's introduction on CD, Culshaw's book and a DVD of The Golden Ring.

2. ***Free Loudspeakers***
The BAS has acquired a pair of Infinity Loudspeakers. They are free to any BAS member in the Boston area with the following catch: When we have a meeting requiring high quality monitor speakers, the owner agrees to bring them to the meeting. The speakers will be at the November meeting.
