Miscellaneous News1. This is from my recording of Puccini’s Messa di Gloria , the Qui Tollis, recorded in Peterborough Town House in 1984 , made into an LP. Sublimely beautiful. 2. Barbie Audio I watched the DVD of Barbie and while the picture is bright and clear the sound is mediocre. The voices are heavily compressed so shouts are the same level as soft speech. Just as in the Doctor Who series. And the ambience is not always realistic. Ryan Gosling’s voice sometimes sounds honky as if he’s too close to a directional mike. |
