Topic: Comparison of Tube Amplifier and Transistor
Have you been wondering what you've been missing with
your transistor amplifier? We will have a tube amplifier setup with loudspeakers
and will compare the sound with a transistor amp, both in the linear region
and when driven to overload. Test equipment will be displaying the measured
performance. This is similar to tests done at the New York HiFi show.
