Topic/Activity: The 2014 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Report

The January meeting of the BAS will feature the annual ‘CES Report’ by members in attendance at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The CES Report is one of our most popular meetings of the year. Show attendees this year will included Alvin Foster, and may include others - Stephen Owades, Walter Swanbon, etc.

The attendees at our meeting will report on what's new and interesting at the largest consumer electronics show in the world. Their report will include rumors, photos, and predictions on what's 'hot' for 2014. The Consumer Electronics Show, LAS VEGAS, is the Official Media Event of home and audio products. It is attended by more than 1,200 media outlets from around the world. Some 20,000 new products and technologies will be unveiled – the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technology. Other than state of the art audio on display, Polaroid will demo a $1,000.00, 50-inch 4K television, Toyota will show their new fuel cell car, and Ford is showing a solar panel automobile.
