'Tis the season...
The concert season starts with big programs, this fall is no exception. Support your local music or lose it. Local musical organizations can provide the best way to invest in your entertainment infrastructure. Please attend and donate. Here are a few teasers:
1. The Worcester Symphony Orchestra opens it's season on 9/23/2023 at Mechanic's Hall, 321 Main St, Worcester, at 7:30pm. Award winning violinist Sirena Huang will perform the Brahms Violin Concerto, and the orchestra will be featured in Beethoven's Symphony #7. Tickets are inexpensive compared to Boston prices. The hall is lovely and the sound is wonderful.
2. The Bach, Beethoven, & Brahms Society's first concert is 10/1/2023 in Faneuil Hall, Boston. Featuring violinist Lucia Lin and cellist Owen Young the program features selections from Farrenc, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Saint-Saëns, and Beethoven ( Symphony No. 7!).
